    Series 2 Tivo with HD Samsung SMTh3260 Cable box

    Hey Everyone,

    Having a problem hooking my series two box to my new HD Samsung SMTh3260 cable box.
    When I plug the cable (coax) from the wall into the input of my series 2 Tivo and then run the the cable out to the Samsung SMTh3260 cable box, the cable box gets a no signal message.

    I am aware that the Series 2 does not record HD. I don't have the money to upgrade to the new Tivo's yet. So, I am willing to record and even watch tv SD.

    Please i need help!

    You are not wiring this correctly. You'll want to refer to your TiVo's setup guide for wiring instructions. The cable from the wall goes to the cable box, then out of the cable box to the TiVo, then TiVo to TV.

      No Output from Cable

      There's no coax output from the cable box. Which output should I use?

        You can use S-video and red/white audio, or use yellow/red/white together.
