We've had a couple Tivo units, and we currently have a HDXL, and I want to Connect it to a home theater unit and a DVD player recorder. The "TIVO" instructions say it must go thru the DVD player and that must be on to use the system. I know there must be another way (or ten), but I can't get my mind wrapped around it. Is there a good place to find a diagram of how this should be connected? I have S video on all the components, but not HDMI. Let me know if you need more info.
