Expanding memory drive

Other than buying Tivo's recommended expanded hard drive that only gives you 65 more hours of HD programming, I heard there is another way to do it. Is there anyway to do it yourself or buy something else and get more HD hours. I'm looking to have more than an additional 65 HD hours, somewhere in the vicinity of 200. Is this possible? Thanks
