My TiVo hates passwords

Hello. I have a Series 2 40GB with a TiVo Wireless G USB Network Adapter attached. I had to turn off my password protection in order to get it to talk with the network. I have a Belkin Wireless G router on my network.

Can anyone tell me why the TiVo cannot communicate with my router when a password is enabled?
