    Series 2 with digital converter box

    I am trying to set up my Tivo series 2 with my new digital converter box, and everything works fine, until the Tivo tries to test the channel changing. when it gets to the second test, it does not change the channel, and it stops taking input from the Tivo remote, and the only option i have is to unplug the unit. it did that three times.
    Any help would be great, because until i figure this out, i have no Tivo.

    I spent an hour on the phone with Tivo Customer Support, and they could not find a solution. The box I have (Artec, model T3A Pro) is listed as a Tivo supported converter box, but I think it is a problem with the software, since it is the Tivo that stops accepting commands from the remote, always at the same point.
    I still cannot find out what the problem is, so until someone can help me, I guess I will have to go back to regular sd channels.

      I think TiVo does know about the problem. Did you see this?

        Ok, Figured it out.

        I finally figured it out the hard way, had to bypass the test all together.
