Wireless Networking

This is all secondhand info. but, my physical thearpist tells me her husband can wirelessly network from their Tivo to their computer. I was told all I need is a wireless router and some type of device that plugs into the back of their Tivo. Also, that I would need something(perhaps software) that would allow Tivo to interface with microsoft. I have a directv dvr with tivo R10. i know its an older model but i have never had a problem with it (if not broken...).

The DirecTV TiVo units can't do this type of networking.

Been here a long time . . .
