Series Network Performance

Does anyone have experience such that you can compare the transfer rates of a Series 3 machine: cat5 vs wireless vs powerline networking? I will be buying one in the next few days. Hardwire is not really an option. Wireless is, but I would expect the Netgear powerline product to be somewhat faster.

It is not important for programming, but should be for transferring stored shows to my computer.

Unfortunately, the Series3 can't transfer stored shows to computers at this point, so do whatever is most convenient.

Been here a long time . . .
