Someone just gave me an RCA DVR40 and they were DirectTV subscribers. Can I use this with my cable provider (Altantic Broadband) or will it only work with DirectTV?
If so, do I just contact my cable company and get a card? I also will need to get a remote since they are using it with their new system.
Do I have to get Tivo service or can I just use the box to record?
