Have a series Two and just switched from Cox Cable (where my TIVO worked great) to Verizon FIOS. Now playback of older recordings (Cox) play well but I can no longer watch live tv or record programs. Any help on setting up the TIVO or what the problem is would be great.

You probably just need to redo Guided Setup and follow the instructions on-screen carefully.
If you want, you can get CableCARDs with FiOS and an HD TiVo - they take the cable box out of the equation totally, plus you get HD:

Thanks, but I already have a lifetime subscription I would rather not lose. I have had 2 FIOS techs here and talked to a TIVO tech and nobody seem to be able to figure this out. I had hoped there was someone who who had gone through this and would come to my rescue with an easy fix. Well, I will give up TIVO before I will pay Verizon or TIVO more money. I will give the setup one more try and hope for the best.Comment
