I have a new (refurbished from weaKnees) Phillips DSR704 Directv DVR with TiVo and would like to get it networked. I have a cat-5 cable run to the vicinity (I used this box to replace a Sony series-1 DirectTiVo hacked box that used ethernet to make it's calls). I need to know which usb adapters will work with this box - I prefer the wired solution as I already have cat-5 wired, and am hesitant to spend money for the wireless adapter unless I can be sure that it will work with the box and that it will be secure. Software on it now is 6.2-01-2-301 and it doesn't seem to want to get any newer when I force a call on it (currently on the phone line).
Any help would be appreciated!
