OK, just got my series 3 from you yesterday and LOVE it! Thank you!
(btw. . Bresnan even let me install my own cable cards)
However, I am having a problem getting the digital sound from my Tivo to my audio receiver (which is dolby capable but not THX certified).
I have the HDMI cable going from TIVO to my TV then the digital out cable going from the TV to my receiver. But I cannot get any sound from my receiver - only the TV.
I have the same setup for my DVD player and it works (even if I switch the cables and ports to be same as the TIVO).
So my assumption is that somehow the audio signal from the TIVO to the TV is not the same as the audio signal coming from my DVD to Tivo and that is stopping the TV from being able to send the Tivo audio out (or stopping the receiver from processing the audio signal)
Do you have any ideas on what could be going on?
