My 2 yr old series 2 froze, then stuck on "powering up" then went to blank screen but drive sounds active. Replaced HD with WK kit and all came up fine, setup great, watched Tiger Woods for a day then it froze, then stuck on "powering up" then blank screen with left LED flashing multiple colors very fast? Drive sounds like it comes up okay but no screen each power cycle. Could the problem have been flakey power supply rather than drive failure?? or another drive failure in one day? --Mesch

A faulty power supply is certainly possible given the symptoms.That's all there is to it! -
Well, I have the same problem, but replaced the power supply from weaknees, and worked for about 5 hours, then the same thing. HelpComment

Have you tried disconnecting and reconnecting the parlex cable? Have you tried to boot with no drive attached?
We refurbish and test each power supply, but it's possible it's broken somehow.Been here a long time . . .Comment
