Series 1 & hard drive compatibility

I've recently lost one of my 2 hard drives from a previously upgraded Philips Series 1 (212 model).

I've decided to upgrade both drives at the same time with the following drive type:

Seagate 320GB PATA 7200RPM 16Mb cache HardDrive 3.5" Parallel ATA HDD
Item Code : HDDSEA-3320620A

Will these drives work with my Series 1 Tivo? Is there a limit or maximum size that will work?

That drive (even as a pair) should work fine for you, but realize that you'll be wasting a HUGE amount of space, as the Series 1 model will only recognize 137GB per drive. The maximum upgrade capacity for that unit, assuming a dual drive config is 344 hours. Anything larger than two 160GB drives tends to be overkill.
