    HR10-250 Stuck on start-up

    Just out of the blue TiVo switched to the "Welcome" screen. After a few minutes it went to the "just a few more minutes" screen and then back to the "Welcome" screen again. it keeps doing that over and over. unpluged over night and it came back but a few hours later were back to the "Welcome" screen. Is it the hard drive?

    That's almost definitely the hard drive. A replace kit should fix it. Choose your model here:

      No chance that it could be the fan and a over heating problem?

        Those issues may have caused the drive failure, but likely it's just the drive, and only a replacement drive would fix it.

          Okay. Would you suggest checking the fan to make sure it's working? Should I replace the fan even if it does work?
