Our original Sony SAT T-60 remote is slowly dying (buttons have stopped working) so I ordered the RC32 replacement remote.

I followed the programming instructions for the remote (Sony T60 code is 00639), but the new remote doesn't control the TIVO. I did successfully get the new remote to control the TV. Also, the original TIVO remote still works with the TIVO. I have tried a few other codes as well.

I did have to replace the hard drive a year ago and bought a replacement boot image from weaknees. Anyone had to deal with this problem?
