Says its Taped. Not Taped.

Lately, my DirectTV Tivo has been 'taping' shows but it shows 00:00 minutes taped and plays nothing even tho the show is listed in the Recorded Programs.

In addition, it often stops taping in the middle of a show accompanied by a static 'screech.' Been missing way too many shows I'd like to see with this problem.

Any ideas what this could be?

Sounds like a bad drive or motherboard. If you go to the top of the To Do list there is a Recording History that might have more details on the errors.

Been here a long time . . .
