    Sony DVR-2000

    Hi
    I have an original Sony that I upgraded the hard drive recently. Everything works fine but I do not have the feature that sorts the shows into folders. Not sure what it is called. I think it was downloaded on the original hard drive as a service download but never reappeared on the new drive. Anyway to get this from Tivo? I have a lifetime service package on this unit so I want to keep it going.

    The Sony SVR-2000 never had the folder feature . . .

      Thanks for the reply. So the folder feature resides in the firmware and is not a service upgrade from Tivo? I could of sworn it showed up as part of a service upgrade download. Although with 6 different DVR's it is a little hard to keep track. So it is not available without going to a new machine? I had heard there was some way to migrate the lifetime service. Is that a possibility?

        It's definitely part of a service update, but there was never a service update with folders for the SVR-2000.
