  • HR10-250 Failure & Replacement Failure?

    Unit #1. Long time HR10-250 (purchased when first released) failed about two weeks back.

    Unit #1 works fine off of the hard drive, shows good signal strength on input 2 but shows no signal on input 1 or off-air input.

    Unit #2. An additional HR10-250 (recent purchase) that was to be a second location unit.

    Unit #2 operates just fine other than the fact that it will not display the proper time. Spoke with DTV tech and was told that the software version is old. Tried to "force" a software update as per tech (punch in 02458? while booting up), but that didn't work.

    DTV has sent me another unit as a replacement, but I still need to have at least unit #1, or unit #2 as a second unit that is operational.

    Any help getting unit #1, unit #2, or both, would be greatly appreciated....

    Unit #2 Fixed....

    Apparently sometime in the early am the unit #2 took the firmware update so that unit now shows the correct time.

    Still need to figure out what's up with Unit #1....
