Using Series 2 HD in Sony SAT-T60?

My DirecTV Tivo Sony SAT-T60 has a dead hard drive. It is a Maxtor 40GB model D540X.

I have a Tivo Series 2 Model TCD 240080 with a WD800 80 GB hard drive which I no longer use.

Will the Series 2 hard drive in the DirecTV Tivo work in the Sony SAT-T60 without any additional formatting or programming?
