DVD drive on Series2 Toshiba Tivo

I have a series 2 Tivo made by Toshiba. It is a DVD player/Tivo combo. The DVD drive won't open, so I want to replace the drive. Can I use any DVD-ROM drive or is there a specific kind I need?

You need a very specific kind. We have a few - for full info, open your unit and see the model number. It's usually a specific rev of DVR-105.

The model number of the Toshiba Tivo is SD-H400, but there is no markings of any kind on the DVD drive.

Oh - that model. I really don't know what's in there for a DVD drive.
