Swap Drives Bolt

I have a two-year-old Bolt with a WK 2TB drive in it. It works fine, but the HDMI port has failed, so it won't play any video through the HDMI port. I was able to get TiVo to send me a refurb TiVo, but since they think I have a 500 GB TiVo, they sent me a 500 GB TiVo replacement.

I want to swap the 3TB drive out of the old Bolt and into the New one.

Will it work? Can I save my content? What are the caveats?

You can move the drive, but you won't be able to save anything. You'll need to do a "clear and delete everything" once you get it in the replacement unit.
