I have a client that wants to have the ability to listen to TV via wireless over the ear headphones. These would be used on a Samsung TV with a TiVo Mini. I'm not sure if plugging in a USB bluetooth transmitter to the TiVo or TV USB ports would work to drive the headphones. If it did I presume the USB audio output would be fixed with adjustment for volume done on the headphones. The transmitter would also have to be relatively compact as it would be going behind the TV. Any thoughts or suggestions are appreciated.

Definitely, you can't plug any type of USB anything into a Mini to get audio from it. It delivers audio through the HDMI or through AV cables via the breakout port.
Would your transmitter have an RCA style input?Been here a long time . . . -
That's what I figured about the USB ports on a TiVo, I haven't bought the headphones or bluetooth adaptors yet, Audioengine has some interesting bluetooth products that might be what I need to take the optical or analog outs directly from the TV to a transmitter. Thanks,Comment
