Series 3- is second tuner digital?

just got my second cablecard installed in my new Series 3 today (Cable company only brought one card the first time) - but it doesn't seem like I can get any digital channels on the second tuner. Is this by design?

I read this was a limitation on the Series2 DT, is it still true on the Series 3? Or is there some configuration problem I need to look into?

No - that's not right at all. Are you sure they activated it properly?

I'm pretty sure they did it wrong - I've had 2 installers out from Time Warner, neither had ever seen a Tivo (any series) until they saw mine. Ugh.

ok, it looks like the CableCard is bad - I had a Time Warner tech reinitialize it, to no avail. We also attempted switching the positions of the two cards, and the working one continued to work in Slot 2, while the bad one continued to be bad in slot 1.

A new card is coming tomorrow.
