Tivo HD External Storage >1TB

Hey, I have a 1.5TB WD external hard drive (WD15000H1CS-00) that has esata output. I was using it for backup purposes, but have recently formatted it (NFTS) and tried using it for external expansion. After numerous restart processes, I finally got the Tivo to see it. But the Tivo says that it is incompatible.

Is there any reformat or other magic I can do to marry this drive to my Tivo? Any help anyone can offer is greatly appreciated.

You've got two problems there - you need pretty specific software to make an external work on a TiVo HD (unless it's the one sanctioned model) and even at that, I don't believe the external on that model can be larger than 1 TB.
