Tivo Series 3 Rebooting

Hello -- I recently bought a used TCD648250B Tivo. Two weeks ago, the signal started to get pixelated so after some research I ran the SMART HD test and it failed. Realizing that i needed a new hard drive, I bought a SAMSUNG HD 103SJ 1 TB hard drive to replace it. I used WinMFS to backup (Truncated Backup) and restore the drive but now my Tivo reboots after being on for about 5 - 8 minutes.

Is it a power supply issue or could the new hard drive still be a problem?

Could be the drive. If you copied the OS off a corrupt drive, you may not have installed a complete copy. Also, Samsung drives generally aren't great for TiVos or any DVRs, because they're desktop drives and not DVR drive. When Samsung built DVRs, even they used WD drives.
