  • Need dish for THR22

I have a new THR22 and was going to replace my ailing Sat T60 but now I think my oval, 3LNB dish will not suffice.

Which dish should I get? Also, which setup will allow the Sat T60 to work as well if I get it fixed?

    Thanks!

You can get a new Slimline dish (non SWM) and it'll work with both units.

If you post your zip code, we can tell you if you need the 3LNB or 5LNB Slimline. Some areas need the 5LNB to get HD locals.

Two intersting zip codes for me are 94043 & 95304.

Would an HR10-250 work with these slimline units as well?

What does the multiswitch buy me? I'm confused about that part.

      Thanks a lot!

Both of those zips just need a 3LNB Slimline dish to get locals.

Of course, your HR10 can't get HD locals via DIRECTV at this point - only via over-the-air antenna.

All three of these units can use the same non-SWM dish.

The dish will have four outputs. If you want to use all three receivers at once, you'll need a 6x8 multiswitch to get eight outputs.
