Question about HD compatability

Hi

I have a Sat T-60 with HD troubles. I have an NOS WD PATA drive model number WD1600AAJB that I had acquired for a computer project that I never got around to. Will this drive make a suitable unit for inclusioon in my TiVo rebuild efforts?

I don't think that drive works in the SAT T60.

Interesting. I thought it would be great because it is PATA - which are getting hard to come by. I guess not all PATAs are created equal though...

I do have an older WD drive pulled from my computer - is a WD1600JB-00FUA0 a good drive to use?

160GB is the biggest I can go, right? I think I remember that from when I did this before.
