I have a Tivo TCD140060 model with a bad hard drive but with lifetime service. I have a TIVO TCD24004A with a good hard drive. Can I simply replace the former hard drive with the latter?
Actually, yes, you can between those two models. You'll need to do a "clear and delete everything" after the swap to reserialize the drive to the second unit.
