just wondering if there is a 2TB external HDD avail for the Tivo Elite & what the model# is ? (I see weaknees is selling an elite with 2tb ext hdd for $900) and will that model also work with Premier XL

We can get a 2TB connected to an Elite, but we have to get the TiVo in order to pair the internal and external. -
I already have the Elite and don't want to ship it back as it's got programs on it. so I just can't plug in the 2TB drive?
is there any other Ext HDD that will work with Tivo Elite (1TB or 2TB) Besides the official WD Model# WDBABT0010HBK-NESN (I am having a problem finding anyone with this in stock) do you have In-Stock? I read somewhere that an Iomega external drive would work (I know the original Series3 had a hack KickStart 62 for Ext drives) but I believe it's locked down for the premier XL/Elite

We don't have that one (and we don't think it's a great enclosure, frankly) but that's the only one that is plug and play.Been here a long time . . .Comment
