OK....so I was getting the WPU loop and replaceed the HD in my TIVO HD unit.
It worked for a day and the loop began again. I got another HD and had the same problem.
Ordered a new power supply from WeaKnees. Tried both drives with it...same problem.
Here is specifically what is happening in the loop:
1> Plug in TIVO
2> WPU screen appears, green light is solid.
3> After about 45 seconds the green light goes out momentarily, comes back on, then yellow light comes on momentarily (so green and yellow are on together for a second) and then yellow goes out and green stays on.
4> Another 15 seconds or so later, screen goes dark (green light still lit) then green light goes out for 2-3 seconds and then blinks twice rapidly (blink, blink) and then the WPU screen appears and the whole thing starts over again (step 2 above)
Do I have any alternatives other than junking the TIVO and getting a new one?
