Can TiVo Bolt+ run with ONLY an eSATA drive?

Can TiVo Bolt+ run with ONLY an eSATA drive?

If I were to disconnect the internal drive, and plug in an external drive to the eSATA port in the back, would the TiVo be able to run? Or does the eSATA only work for expanding storage, and still require an internal drive be present?

Nope - it can with our kit, but not with the eSATA port on the back.
