humax hardrive question?

Ok so i have a humax t2500 series 2 dvr (non dvd recorder) it is stuck on the WELCOME POWERING UP screen.... tried everything i can to get it going, reboot disconnect reconnect power up every diffrent configuration i can try. so i have come to the conclusion that the hardrive is dead .. is there a way to use the 2 terabyte drive i have that is external thru the usb?? if so how would i do it?

please help anything you can help with would be awesome!! thanks neil

Nope - that unit can't boot from USB, and it also can't use a single drive larger than 1 TB.

We have fully formatted replacement drive kits for it here:
