I have a TiVo HD in one room. I'd like to buy another TiVo that can see the programs recorded on the TiVo HD (and visa versa). Can that be done, and if so, what TiVo should I get and how do I set them up?

Yes, you will need a second TiVo with service, and you will need to connect both TiVos to your network. See:

My house is hardwired, so I just need to plug the new Tv in to the network using the Ethernet cable. Is that right?Comment

Correct, and turn on transfers from your TiVo account once you have both Tivos subscribed.Comment
