Series 1 TIVO - New Remote Not Working

I have a Sony Series 1 system w/ the original Sony remote. I have a series 2 Peanaut remote available but it doesn't work w/ the Series 1. Is there a programming option availaable ?

Sorry, but the peanut remotes don't (and can't be made to) work with Sony TiVos.

Hi Jeff,

Do I have any options ? Any other remotes available that can be made to work w/ my Sony Series 1 Tivo ?

You can try one of the many universal remotes out there. They're expensive, but we know the Harmonys work with that unit.

Been here a long time . . .
