HR10-250 Reboots after recent new WK HDD

I replaced a bad hard drive a couple of months ago and used a Weakness replacement Hard drive for my HR10-250. In the past few days I've had the machine reboot when I went into the main Tivo menu to read messages or set a recording. Otherwise the system has functioned well.

I wonder if there is a bug in the new preload software I received in the upgrade.

Has anyone seen the same thing?

Yes! We've seen that. It seems many DirecTV TiVos are rebooting - especially during reading messages, but at other times also.

We think it's a guide issue bug possibly. Try not reading messages and see what happens. We're pretty sure DirecTV is on the case.

Thanks Michael for confirming that others are having the same problem. How would the bug be fixed? By DirecTV download? I see I'm running software build 6.4a-01-2-357.

Potentially by a change to guide data - I'd try a Clear and Delete Guide Data to see if that helps.
