CableCard Screen Issue HELP PLEASE

I have been using an HD Tivo with a dual tuner card for a year now with no problems. Recently the cablecard setup screen has been popping up requiring me to hit the CLEAR button. What's up with that? I'm concerned something bad is looming on the horizon. HELP PLEASE?

Have you tried pulling the plug and restarting the TiVo?

Yes, I tried that. I also called Tivo and Comcast. Neither could find a solution. They have not heard of anyone else with the same problem, but I have seen others posting the same issue.

Might be a bad CableCARD slot, or it could be a bad CableCARD. Those would be my guesses.

Try carefully ejecting and reinserting the cards and make sure there's no foreign material in the slot.

Been here a long time . . .
