Hello all appreciate that this issue is not new as there are several threads about this from other members.
I am looking for a conclusive answer if possible, that the hard drive or power supply are the source of my problem before I go spending any more money on a second hand system that may not be worth it. I can buy another second hand one with warranty for cheaper than fixing this one but I am not one to throw away fixable technology!
My problems started with the continual unforced rebooting of the system. The box simply reboots and goes straight to the "Almost There..............." screen where it continues to hang (so far I have lasted 12 hours before pulling the plug.)
Can someone tell me definitely that this is a HDD or power supply problem before I go and spend more money on this thing?
