Need to transfer Series 2 TiVO shows as household splits...
Hello all,
I need to know what my options are wrt saving programming from a TCD24004A TiVO since my household is dividing up, I'm losing access to it, and I've retained some programs available nowhere else than on our 2-drive upgraded system.
1. I understand there is a 'save to VCR' option
2. some people can add a USB-to-network ability, but I think the only tools available are for TiVO-to-TiVO transfers and some online TiVO utility.
3. an external hard drive may be an option, but only for models which came after this one.
I'm looking for any other information and options since I don't yet have a TiVO (or alternate DVR - does MythTV work?) to transfer the shows to.
