In April I replaced the 40GB HD in my Series 2 TiVo with a 1TB Western Digital Green Drive from Weaknees. The first drive wouldn't boot correctly, I sent it back and received another one with a different cable. This drive booted. See threads:

The TiVo is now experiencing problems. The recordings pixelate and sometimes when the pixelation shows up the TiVo reboots itself. At first (about a month ago) this was happening occasionally (one a week). Now it happens multiple times a day. Also, the TiVo is now refusing to upload the guide information. It connects and downloads the info, but on the last step I get an "Error S03".
Any ideas what's going on? Is there a way to fsck the drive or otherwise check it without removing it from the TiVo? I'm getting the feeling that this hard drive is failing.
