I have a RCA drv40 that was freezing and then would not start up anymore. In reading online help, I replaced the hard drive with an upgraded 80 hour drive. This seemed to solve the problem for about 2 days, then the freezing started again. Now I have to unplug and reboot about 3-4 times a day. Any help on what I can do to keep my TIVO would be appreciated.

Are the reboots pretty much identical to the way they were before the drive change?
Was the drive from us?

Then you could have a different drive problem, theoretically. Do you want to send the drive back to us for testing?Been here a long time . . .Comment
