My two TiVos died in a thunderstorm. I'm trying to get one working with no luck.
The TCD649080 just has a dim red light on the front, nothing else happens. No video. The fans work but the 2 drives do not spin up.
I replaced the power supply after getting that suggestion a few times, but it didn't help. At any rate I tested the old one & it has both 5v and 12v while connected to the TiVo so I'm assuming it's OK.
Any ideas on what to do next? Thanks.
