    Tivo logo badge...

    Hey guys,

    Does anyone know where I can get TIVO logo badge (the one on the middle of the front panel) for my Series 2 Tivo -TCD540040. My 3 year old managed to pry it off the front of the TIVO and dropped it in the floor where our minature bulldog preceded to chew it up into tiny pieces

    Please PM me if you have one. I really hate staring at the white light on the front of my Tivo....

    Those badges do seem to come off that model pretty easily. We get a lot of requests for them.

    Unfortunately, we can only sell the entire faceplate (of course, we're happy to only ship the badge if you want it - but we still have to charge the $29).

      Darn, I was hoping that wouldn't be the answer. I found the faceplates for sale on the website but $29 bucks is a little too steep for me to just replace the logo. Surely someone has a scratched or unuseable faceplate with a good logo on it (fingers crossed) laying around.

      After all, I just ordered a new 320GB HD and power supply for my TCD540040 from WeakKnees this morning (Google Order #471411586456456). Maybe a logo could just fall into the shipping box somehow....

        We wish we had one - trust me, we really get the request all of the time, and we burned through the few we could spare a long time ago.

          A couple of years ago I moved my TCD540040 from one room to another, being so proud of my new DVR I was so devastaed when I looked and my logo was MIA. I took my TIVO manual and scanned the logo resized it and printed it out on nice card stock. After two or three tries I had the size down and cut it out and glued it on in place of the original. After admiring my work and boasting to my wife my resourcefulness, I happened to mave a box and found the lost one. Oh well, just goes to show you you can do anything that you put your mind to it.
