Replace hard drive on Series 2 without upgrade?

When the drive failed on my Series 2 24004A 40 hr. Tivo, I bought a new dual tuner machine. Now, the question is whether or not to repair the old machine. Can I get a 40 hr. drive like the original one for less than the cost of a 80 gb upgrade drive and, if so, where?
