After power outage, my 6+ years old DirecTV Sony T60 Single 40GB disk keeps rebooting on first 2 screens. I never opened my box earlier, so what are my option(s) as I don't have backup.

If you are going from Powering up....to Almost there...back to powering up, this could be a bad hard drive or possibly a bad power supply. If you are interested in purchasing one or the other (or both), we have them. Or we can take a look at your unit and diagnose/fix the problem for you.
Alternatively, you can pull the drive and test it in a PC and see if it is bad. -
