I am attempting to upgrade my Tivo unit to a larger hard drive. I boot to the Weaknees CD and hit enter and it loads all the data. The hard drives all show up properly and I can page up and down but it will not allow me to type any letters or accept the enter key. Any idea whats going wrong?

Some USB keyboards don't work with this CD. You might try an older PC or an old-style keyboard.Been here a long time . . . -
Actually what I did was upgrade the computer I was using and that did that. Now I have other problems. I type in the Linux commands as instructed and keep getting error messages. Nothing with computers is ever simple.Comment
