    Stuck on: Welcome! Powering Up...

    Hi Folks,
    I have a Humax DRT800 with an upgraded hard drive purchased through WeaKnees. I installed it (I think it's a 750GB) about 6 months ago and everything has been working great. Until yesterday....

    I go to view my system and the LED display on the unit says "WELCOME" and the TV screen has that Yellow and Blue boot screen which says, "Welcome! Powering Up..."

    Normally, upon restart, that screen would last about 3 minutes then it would finish its boot up sequence; but not now .

    Can someone please tell me what may have failed and how I can fix it? I would really appreciate it!

    I installed the replacement hard drive by myself so I'm not shy about doing some work inside the box.

    Do you have the factory drive? Was it working before the upgrade? If so, you should try putting that back in to see if the problem goes away.

      Yes, I just returned the factory drive back to the system and it works fine now. The problem seems to be centered on the new 500GB drive I purchased in April. Will WeaKnees help me with this type of dive problem?
