New Power Supply Problems

I just received and installed a new power supply and fan for my DirecTv TIVO HDR unit. My old power supply was doing the "ticking" sound that was described in the problems area. I replaced the power supply, replaced the fan, hooked it up...and I am still getting the ticking sound and the TIVO does not power up.

Am I completely hosed? Is it possible the new power supply is bad?

More likely, you have a motherboard problem. What is your exact TiVo model? (HDR is a standalone, not a DIRECTV TiVo model).
