Series 2 - Vertical Lines

Help! I have a Series 2 Tivo - and have searched these forums. Maybe I am missing something...

My Tivo screen looks fine - no issues there (selecting channels, programs, etc). But - the TV picture has solid vertical lines running through - sound is also ok. I have no cable box, so I have the cable line from the wall directly to the TIVO. I have switched my cables to new ones, removed the surge protector...nothing helps. Can someone please let me know how to fix this?

I would recommend that you try taking it to a new location--new TV, new room, maybe even new house, just to see if the problem continues. If it does, then you likely have a bad motherboard (possibly power supply, but more likely motherboard). We can likely repair the problem if it continues, just contact us.

Have changed tvs and rooms and it doesn't solve the problem. Can you tell me how much a motherboard and/or power supply would cost?
