My Tivo recently started to exhibit the following symptoms:
While the front green LED is lit solid all the time, the unit will not respond to the remote conrol unless I unplug the unit and reconnect it to house power. This action seems to work for a period of time, however, less than 24 hours later I find myself having to do the same thing over again.
This unit does have the lifetime service associated with it and I do not want to lose this since they no longer offer it.
Any ideas?
If I have to replace the hard drive, is it simply a matter of plug & play with a replacement? Or, is there some other steps that need to be taken to ensure that the lifetime service still works?
