HR 10-250 fast forward freeze

My HR 10-250 freezes when I hit fast forward (one Arrow). It also freezes in the slo mo mode. Love this unit otherwise and am hesitant to "upgrade". Is this a problem that is solveable? I've rebooted (involuntarily due to power outages) several times so I don't think a re-boot will solve the problem. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

You might try a 'clear and delete everything' in the system reset menu to see if that resolves the problem.
